Bali’s Sea Temple Guarded by Poisonous Snakes

I have four words for you. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.
Oh wait, what’s Pirates of the Caribbean about this mystical sight without a little magic
Bali’s sea temple, Tanah Lot, stands dramatically on the coast of West Bali, at the village of Beraban in the Tabanan Regency. When the tides are low and ticklish on our feet, it’s a popular tourist location for people to check out the temple way at the top. It is one of the main temples in Bali that worship the Balinese gods.
But here’s the kicker- during high tide, Tanah Lot’s silhouette plus its middle-of-the-sea location makes it look like a large ship sailing on the waters. Additionally, poisonous snakes live in the caves nearby to “guard” the temple, which is sooo Pirates of the Caribbean, but also a little Mario Party

Now that I think about it, Tanah Lot does remind me of Bowser’s lair, where he frequently steals all my Mario Party gold coins and gold stars because he’s a S.O.B.

P.S. I pin. Like all. the. time.
