Dive through the Underwater PARK

Traveling is all fun and games and overpriced souvenirs till we remember the hassles associated with it. Like going through customs, and packing, and looking like your passport photo on the plane.

But some things make it all worth it. Like the Sleeping Beauty Castle in Germany, the Underwater Roller Coaster in Japan, and the Green Lake in Austria.

The waters of the lake are right by the foot of the snow-capped Hochschwab Mountains, in Tragoess, Styria. During the winter, the park is just like any other, i.e. dry and fit for baby land animals. But during the summer, the snow and ice on the mountains melt and turn the park into an UNDERWATER rite of passage to becoming a cool human being. That is, you can SCUBA DIVE through it!

The Green Lake during winter.

It's probably the only place in the world where flooding is celebrated. What a difference a change of scenery can make.
